How Orange is Your Book?
A few days ago I glanced up at my shelf of recently-read books. Scanning the titles brought a smile to my face until a sudden realization hit me. These book covers all looked suspiciously similar. It’s not the genre or author or even the publisher, but it seems that somewhere somehow someone has conspired to tie these books together in a most insidious way.
Or perhaps I’m just a sucker for orange…
Weird, right? But I suppose there’s a science to book cover designing. What color is your row of books? Mostly blue? Perhaps heavy on the greens and browns? I wonder if this says something about the individual reader. I’ll have to ask Hodgepodge Grumblebeak about this form of graphic voodoo.
