First of all, I have six cats. They’re all in great health and have plenty of toys and each their own bed and they go out every day and sleep in at night. Deal with it or not… A few of us Americans in Vancouver, BC, have pooled our loose change in order to buy an escape package for the duration of the Olympics. It’s just another TV Olympics for us since we can’t afford to attend any of the events live, and since the roads promise to be absolutely gridlocked for those two weeks, we’re taking the City of Vancouver’s advice and getting out of town… So many times I’ve wanted to order an item from the United States of America and was turned away by a vendor who would not ship aaaaaaaallllllll the way to Canada. Some people just can’t deal with paperwork, I guess… Can I at least come down from my Halloween sugar rush before we start decking the f#cking halls? … It was reported last week in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, that 268 bank accounts fell victim to the PIN Pad Scam, a relatively recent development in high tech robbery. That’s just in one week in one city… Yes, it’s just about that time again when the governments of the world pretend to put aside their differences in an insincere show of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Here comes the 2010 Winter Olympics… Here’s one of those bar tricks that confounds anybody who’s weak at math. If you paid attention in high school, this is pretty easy to grasp. For the rest of you, it’s entirely your own fault if you ever fall for this one… |
