The New World Order Scam
Do NOT give your money, your valuable time, or the slightest bit of encouragement to the following deluded people…
The term “New World Order” has been bandied about since at least World War II. It sometimes refers to the latest global political situation – usually in terms of international cooperation.
Conspiracy fans use the term to describe a theoretical line of history that involves secret societies and old genetic lines conspiring to gain total control of the world. They warn us of the impending One World Government, a unifying of all military forces, and a controlled global economy with a common form of currency.
Just like “Star Trek.” Hm. So what’s the problem? It seems to me that people have been the pawns of their governments for just about ever, so what’s the big deal if their government gets bigger? With a unified military, there won’t be any wars, right? A controlled economy will mean less – if any – recessions and depressions. Science and medicine and art will advance freely. No more hunger, poverty, or global warming.
Of course, this is all plain unadulterated hooey. It’s in our nature for human beings to bicker constantly, so I guarantee there will be no single global government. It may boil down to two governments, but as usual all hell will break loose and another “war to end all wars” will shatter the survivors comfortably apart.
Global economy: not possible. Again, human nature demands a pecking order, and you can’t be rich and powerful unless there are the poor and weak to overlord.
And then there are the fringe offshoots of this already fringe NWO / OWG school of thought. These are nuts who believe in the impending rise of the Antichrist and the second coming of the zombie Jesus and the days of Armageddon, or that the Illuminati and/or Freemasons and/or Zionists and/or international banks and/or neo-nazis and/or extraterrestrial aliens will enslave the world’s population.
Take your Lithium and shut up! If any of these relatively small groups of wing-nuts think they can dominate and control 7 billion people, I’d be very amused to see them try.

When One World Government comes, we will need a common international language as well.
As a native English speaker, I world prefer Esperanto.
